Season of Change

Spring has been a true season of change for us here at Kneaded Care!  While we hope that we have finally bade farewell to winter, we have also bade farewell to a couple of our Kneaded Care teammates.  And as we have welcomed spring, we have welcomed new teammates as well!

Farzana Panthaky, R.Ac., wrapped up her practice here at the end of March, and we were very sad to see her go.  Life has provided some big changes and new opportunities for her, and she has gone to the US to follow her dreams.  We wish her nothing but the best!

The end of April saw us say goodbye to Michelle Matheson, PT.  Michelle had been with us for almost 10 years – we watched her life change with the welcoming of two beautiful daughters and the growth of her family.  The time had come, though, for her to re-balance work and family, and as much as we miss her, no one can fault her for that.  We also wish her nothing but the best!

While we have not found another Acupuncturist, we do recommend that clients who are interested in continuing acupuncture for various ailments consult with one of our qualified Physiotherapists.  They will help you determine whether continuing with that modality – or introducing something else! – can help with your journey to good health.

As a result of Michelle’s departure, we have welcomed Alison Christensen, PT, to our team.  Alison comes to us from another Physiotherapy clinic here in town, and brings with her over 12 years of experience.  She has a particular interest in vestibular therapy, and has recently upgraded her Acupuncture training.  Alison will be in the clinic Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Her schedule has been added to our website, as has her biography. We invite you to take a look!  If you would like to schedule an appointment with her, though, you will need to call the clinic to book that.

We have also added Cathy Proulx, RMT, to our team.  Cathy has almost 20 years of experience in Massage Therapy, and is working with us on Wednesdays and the occasional Saturday.  You will want to book with her as soon as you can – her limited schedule fills up fast!

Lastly, Barb Wright left our front desk team last fall.  Emma Suski has returned to us upon graduation from university, coming back to the fold after a couple of years away.  She will be covering our front desk Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

So much change!  It is said that a change is as good as a rest.  We must be very well rested now …..
