Registered Massage Therapist

We are currently looking for an RMT to join our team. We offer all applicants the opportunity to challenge their abilities in a dynamic work environment.

Hours:

  • Monday 2-7pm
  • Tuesday 12-7pm
  • Wednesday 9-2pm
  • Thursday 10-7pm
  • Saturday 8-3pm

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing Clients’ physical abilities and needs
  • Designing and implementing a massage therapy treatment plan for Clients including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, education, and the use of hydrotherapy
  • Conducting re-assessments of individual Clients and monitor their performance
  • Working with other healthcare professionals
  • Providing consultation on injury prevention and health promotion

Personal and Professional Attributes:

  • In good physical and mental health
  • Mature, enthusiastic, and motivated to develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Computer proficiency

Qualifications:

  • Registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and in good standing
  • Updated liability & professional insurance
  • Experience is an asset
  • Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Flexible schedule
  • Good written and oral English skills
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Work well independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • An interest in working in a dynamic and rapidly changing and busy environment

 


Physiotherapist

We are currently looking for a part-time physiotherapist to join our team. We offer all applicants the opportunity to challenge their abilities in a dynamic work environment. We offer potential physiotherapists a relaxed work environment, and focus on one-on-one, hands on care of patients. Administrative support and clinical leadership are also offered. We have a great staff of 3 PTs, 2 PTAs, 5 RMTs, 1 TCM.P, 1 Bowen Therapist, and 1 Laser Therapist who will welcome you to our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy consultation and treatment for patients with medical, surgical and neurological conditions
  • Work collaboratively with additional physiotherapists
  • Provide supervision as required to the physiotherapy assistants
  • Provide direct patient-focused therapeutic care
  • Encourage, participate and facilitate the educational and professional development of self and other members of the therapeutic care team
  • Collaborate in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of programs, policies, guidelines and standards
  • Can work with a varied caseload including private, MVA, WSIB & OHIP

  • Computer proficiency

Requirements:

  • Licensed with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Recent graduates meeting our qualifications will be considered
  • An interest in working in a dynamic and rapidly changing and busy environment
