Aine Broda

Osteopath

What inspires me about my job?
The fact that I can help people have a better quality of life on a day-to-day basis. The human body constantly amazes me with its ability to adapt and restore health.

Goals I want to achieve:
As a new graduate I am interested in developing my problem-solving skills, which will translate into a better understanding of more complex dysfunction within the body and, for the patient, even better treatment than I can already provide.

My favourite way(s) to stay active:
I have a large garden and so I spend a LOT of time out there. I also like going for walks on the local trails, and am looking forward to becoming more active again now that I am not studying.

One thing in my daily routine that brings me peace:
Opening my back sliding door and looking out onto the garden first thing in the morning. I find the feel of fresh air, the smells, the wind or rain or sun first thing helps to wake me up and put me in a good mood for the day.

My hobbies include:
Reading almost anything I can get my hands on, playing video games, gardening, planning things (from holidays I may never go on, to possible landscaping, to renovations that may never happen).

One item from my bucket list:
Design and build a house (with an architect and builder of course).

If I entered a talent show my talent would be:
Dancing, my singing is terrible.
